The Field is set for the Tucson Rodeo Finals on Sunday, Feb. 28
(Tucson, Ariz.) – The top 12 competitors in each event return Sunday for the Tucson Rodeo finals.
Today’s competition unseated Jessel Bail, Camp Crook, S.D. and Jake Hayworth, St. Anthony, Idaho, in Saddle Bronc Riding making way for Cort Scheer, Elsmere, Neb. who scored an 81-point ride.
Charly Crawford, Prineville, Ore. andRussell Cardoza, Farmington, Calif., slid into the top 12 by clocking a12.8 run today, bumping Bobby Mote, Culver, Ore. and Willy Gould, Wickenburg, Ariz. out of the final lineup.
Travel partners Cody Whitney, Asher, Okla. and Austin Ambrose, Fletcher, Okla. both had major collisions with their bulls in today's performance. The Justin Sports Medicine team reported both were treated for minor injuries on site and released.
